engine swap questions
Hey guys!
My 1990 Honda CRX is starting to smoke.

My mechanic and I both believe its the rings in the engine. I could either replace or rebuild. I was thinking about replacing the engine but I'm not too smart when it comes to cars... I can fit a 1.8L (1.6L stock) under my hood. Can I put any type of 1.8L engine or does it have to be a certain type? Im looking for something with a little bit of power... If someone could redirect me towards a helpful thread that would be great!
