Default 94 Accord fluctuating rpms.

Hello guys, i have a problem with my accord, im asking here, because what a i read in the forum regarding the problem, does not apply to me entirely,
when im driving my car idles fine, but when ive been driving for about 20 minutes or so, the rpms goes up and down from 1500 to 2000, 4 times, sometimes more, but ONLY when the car is moving, when i remove my foot from the gas it starts doing this.

IACV? EGR?,
i recently cleaned egr ports not the valve,

what can i do? what is causing this problem?

Might be the FITV.
Check the Accord FAQ at the top of the page to clean and readjust.

thank you, first time in the morning,
another thing since ive been reading user comments in the FAQ topic,
i have oil inside the intake tube, maybe bad pcv?
also, in the picture the selection i made "what is this", takes oil and gas out from the engine into my intake tube, BUT i have it disconnected, because for some reason when i connect it, my car shuts down, why is that? can i have it disconnected? should i install a small tiny filter? please help me.

Sounds like possibly your pcv valve is going bad. Unplug it and shake it. It should rattle. If not, it could be bad, which would cause your idle to fluctuate as well. It's a cheap part so I would just pick up another anyhow and I would get another pcv valve grommet as well which is what the pcv valve plugs into. It acts as a gasket for the pcv to the head where it inserts. Over time the grommet gets really hard and stops allowing a seal.

Yes!

That tube that you have labeled "What is this" is the fresh air intake for the valve cover/engine PCV system. This tube connected to your intake allows fresh air to be pulled in while the PCV system sucks dirty crankcase gases from the engine through the valve cover, via the PCV valve/hose and into intake manifold.. If you are seeing oil and gunk backing into your intake pipe through the "What is this" tube, then your PCV has probably been plugged for a while.

If you are near a junkyard you can just pull another. Also, get new fitv gaskets from Honda.

Keep in mind, you will tighten the plastic plunger in the fitv down.

While for the iacv, you just clean out the metal mesh filter on the outside of the iacv. Once the metal mesh filter is clean you are done.

If you have tightened the plastic plunger piece of the fitv down and the idle is still fluctuating I would just pull another from the junkyard or you can even get another one from hondapartscheap.com or hondaautomotiveparts.com

It could very well be. If there is air passing the gasket it will cause a fluctuating idle.

to test for vacuum leaks you can lightly spray carb cleaner around gasket surfaces and vacuum hoses with the engine idling. If the RPM stumbles after spraying a certain area, that usually indicates that there is a leak in the gasket/hose.
