The rear end of my car bounces uncontrollably on even the small bumps...sometimes the road even looks smooth and the car still bounces. I noticed this with other 01-03 coupes I see on the road. Is this a common thing with these cars, or does my suspension just need to be replaced? I would hate to pay the cash for a new rear suspension and the car stil do this.

 

Its fairly commonplace to see the factory equipment wear out and cause ride performance loss.

I would do an OEM upgrade, with a Koni or Tokico replacement.

 

Thanks man... now I need to decide if im going to keep the car long enough to put money into it ( needs tired badly too). It's an auto and ive had it for ten years this August..always wanted a manual and more power. Anyways, ill probabaly keep in and let my mom drive it since she drives a Monte Carlo lol.
