...this question is regarding a type R? Or a different model of integra? Because they're both totally different answers.

The stock ITR bars are 24/22mm. What are the stock bars not doing for you that you want to upgrade? And which bushings?

we are talking about a type R...the car needs a lot of attention and if feels like bushing are going bad so most likely need to be replaced...and i was just wondering if there is a more aggressive option than factory... I have seen some sway bars at 26mm/ 27mm and then theres the asr at 32mm hollow i think...i would like to stiffen the car up a bit...hope that explains it

Hardrace makes a good bushing set.

As far as a sway bar goes...without an actual purose in mind like tracking the car and trying to induce oversteer, there's not a good recommendation that anyone's going to be able to make. The stock bars are pretty agressive. You can move up to a larger ASR bar...but...its not really going to serve any purpose.

The JDM rear bar is 23mm. That's a little more agressive than stock.

Do you have anything done to the shocks or springs? Is the car just body rolling too much?

it has koni yellows but the suspension feels mushy and soft and I'm sure thats gonna need to be replace too...but yes body is an issue....the car is a garage queen but will see some track use...there isn't a specific reason i want to do this but i figured if i have to buy something there has to be something out there better than stock

I hate to keep saying this man...but "better" is just subjective. Better is usually based on intended use. Better for the street? Stock. Better for track use and a specific setup? Maybe the ASR/Mugen/other would work better...maybe not.

The stock parts are all pretty good on this car. People with normal integras upgarde to the ITR stuff for a reason. A more agressive swaybar setup may make the car less driveable.

If your bushings really are worn out, you can pick up a set of Genuine Honda ones or get some hardrace ones if you want something a little bit stiffer for bushing material. I'd stay away from polyurethane bushings altogether, though. Just make sure you install the rubber bushings properly. Google "clocking bushings".

For street use, the stock sway bar is good enough. "suspension feels mushy and soft" is usually due to not enough stiffness in shocks and springs, not sway bar.
