New to HT & Seeking for help please!!!!
Hey HT members! A few days ago, a couple buddies of mine heard about my situation with my motor and told me to see if I can possibly fix it. They told me that if I ever needed help or advice I should just hop on Honda-Tech and I would have no problems. So, I decided to take a shot at it. I'm still new to all this so I apologize for any errors I make. And thank you in advance.
Two weeks ago I was working on my Integra and when I popped my hood I found my driver side motor mount literally hanging by one bolt. I decided to pull the motor mount off and saw this...

Motor: B18C1
The motor is pulled now and my car is currently under commission. When I first saw it I knew that there was no way I could fix this and I'm probably going to have to buy a new block. Later I was told that it was fixable and that I could take it to a machine shop to get it filled and re-drill new holes.
I have an appointment with a local machine shop with good ratings/feedbacks this Thursday. And from what I described to them over the phone, they told me that it was fixable. They also quoted me $85/hour. I want to know beforehand if this is actually fixable. Also, has this happened to anyone before? And would it be worth it to get it fixed at a machine shop or should I just replace the block. Just so I don't have to waste any more time and possibly some money. And instead start looking for a new block, bolts, etc and start working on it ASAP because it's my dd and I need my car to get to school and work everyday. The block looks pretty bad and a big piece of one of the holes on the block completely broke off. I just really want my car up and running again. If I can get any advice/help from you guy's I would really appreciate it! And thanks again HT!

it looks like the threads are still intact and the shroud is what got damaged, on the safe side I'd hope they heli-coil it to a larger thread size.
This^^
I broke a bolt off in my driver's side mount and stripped the other 2 holes out pretty badly thanks to some shot motor mounts and 400whp...the shop helicoiled the 2 messed up mount holes, got some new bolts, and i was on my way.

Looks exactly like how my old ls did after my car accident. If yours is anything like mine the bolts will thread but won't bottom out and get tight. Most likely your going to have to do like what was suggested and get them retapped.
