Default B20B Swap

I own a 95 acura integra Ls coupe and blew my stock b18b1 engine. B18b1 engines were too pricey for me and can get a b20b low comp off of jdmenginedepot for $350+shipping and below 65k miles. I was wondering what kind of modifications would I have to do to put it in. Thanks in advance.

Since there are no obd1 b20's you'll need to transfer over your injectors, distributor and alt and you may have to do something about the crank sensor. and you haven't said if your car is an auto? if so use your ls trans I don't think a b20 auto works with a integra seeing as 4wd vs 2wd but idk 100%

It's manual and yeah I'll be using my ls trans. So just swap over my injectors, distributor, and alternator from my b18b1 motor no prob. Any ideas for the crank sensor?

Yup should be, only thing I'm not 100% on is the distributor but I think they're the same.

Ok, thanks I'm just trying to get a rough idea for this build before I jump into it and order it. Isn't going to be as quick as it was with the b18b1 but at this point I just wanna get it running. Can always go b20vtec later anyways. I could order a B20Z for $500 but this car is in dire need of a clutch. Was going to get a stage 2 competition clutch but I think Im going to get a exedy clutch kit with the $150 I'm saving on the motor.

The B20 will be quicker than the old engine, just swap everything over from the B18. Make sure you swap out the front post mount also as the CRV is different. An oem replacement exedy is all you need, don't waste your money on a better clutch.

Just ignore the CKF sensor by the crank as your ecu doesn't look for it.

yeah i just noticed the chassis is a 95.

those b20s from enginedepot are well worth it for 350 bucks, i have one in my civic right now.

you should swap over the intake and exhaust manifolds, throttle body, dipstick, alternator to be obd1 like your chassis, distributor.

while its out i would also replace the front and rear mainseals. mine started leaking a few hundred miles after i swapped it. you also have to replace the timing belt, water pump and tensioner.

while everyone says/runs these b20s straight up off the ls ecu, ive had a wideband on a few of them and they run pretty lean on cold start and at wide open throttle. a basic fuel pressure regulator bumped up a bit will help greatly.
