Just wondering is it possible to swap a B18 LS engine with automatic transmission into my 94 EG automatic? How hard will it be and any chassis modification need?

Shouldn't be any chassis modification, but the engine management comes in to play... Is the LS OBD 1? You may get away using the stock B18 LS ECU. As far as tuning or any aftermarket a/f adjustment items you won't find much if any for automatics...

 

Someone told me that the tranny side mount is different than stock SOHC tranny, that made me confused. Becasue it is just direct swap on Maunal, so I expect it should be the same as automatic.

The ecu stuff actually isn't that hard. You will have to wire in the auto LS tranny computer and just use the stock auto LS ecu for the engine.

The shop did a full auto swap into an auto del sol a few years back. The passenger side frame rail needed some persuasion but other than that I believe it fit ok.

 

I make the ecu harness to install the auto OBD1 integra setup into the OBD1 civic chassis if you are interested.

 

Do u know how hard it will be ?
