b18a1 cable transmission keeps throwing code 17. i just put a C-clip in and made sure it was secure, still throwing code 17!

code 43 fuel supply system, i have determined it is my O2 sensor is fouled out. since its all still OBD0 i have a one wire O2 sensor. about ready to put another one in to the test pipe.
Q: should i run dual single wire O2 sensors because i have the bungs?
Or run a single four wire O2 sensor for better tuning/driving.

i have done some research about O2s and would like a heater wire, how would i run that.
also heard GM makes a three wire O2.
