Default Hi Def How To: Valve Lash Adjustment on Honda Engine - GSR B18C1

Made this video yesterday and tested out the new action cam, hopefully it is helpful! This is on an all motor app but it will be equally as useful for my turbo guys! Enjoy

No problem. Glad I could help! The longer feeler gauges seem to work better for me. They are cheap enough to buy a set before you do the job versus using the smaller ones in one of the slide out sets.

No prob! Not counting the content of the video, I was really happy with the clarity that my little action cam was able to make. I have good lighting in the garage so I figure that had to of helped as well.

Make sure you click the gear on youtube and set it to full quality so long as your internet speed supports it, then it will be almost as clear as if you were there

For acccurate lash gaps you should always use 3 feeler gauges
eg: 7 thou required gap
use 6 7 8
once you have set your gap at 7
check your gap with the 6 and 8
the 6 should fit loose and the 8 shouldnt fit (will bind on the tip)

if the 6 dont fit loose then your gap is to tight
if the 8 does fit then your gap is not tight enough

So far so good on this valve adjustment. I had some questions on the color of my oil.

It is Royal Purple HPS 5w30. Other than Joe Gibbs Racing BR30 break-in oil that is the only oil I have ran thus far in this new build.
