1990 dx no start no spark ecu not lighting up
Hi guys,
90 dx with d16a6 swap in it
3 weeks ago died around the corner from my house just shut off, car turns over no problem but im not getting spark for sure and im not sure on fuel, ecus no flashing any codes or anything at all which it usually would even if its fine,
checked all fuses
Im having trouble diagnosing it
my questions
-could it be a power wire for the ECU ( i checked all fuses so its not then)
if it is a power wire which one is it
i plugged in pm 5 ecus to test as i know they work and i kno they wouldnt start but they shoudlve thrown a code they didnt and they didnt flash either which makes me feel like its a power line to the ecu

Sounds like the main relay if you have no spark and no fuel.

Never had it happen to me, but if I'm not mistakened, when your ecu does not flash, that means a dead ecu. Not too sure if anything controls power to the ecu directly besides the fuse in the engine bay.
Now reading the whole thing, it does seem you have a problem somewhere else besides the ecu
