S2000 power delivery question
I went to test drive a 2006 s2000 today and i thought the engine behaved very oddly.
The car felt like it was hesitating during a partial throttle acceleration in 2nd and 3rd gear anywhere between 3-5k rpms. This particular car when moving through 3-5k rpms had some flat acceleration when given gas and then shortly, it came alive. So when i gave it gas, it did almost nothing for a second and then there was a sudden burst of a power...likewise when vtec hits but we were under 5k rpms. It didnt do it every acceleration but i did few it multiple times. Ignition issue? Clutch slipping(didnt feel like it though)??
Ive driven s2000s before and i know that the acceleration is pretty much non existent under 5k rpms but they were smooth and slow until vtec.

MY06 and up are drive by throttle, and have a slight delay if stock. Lucky thing is, it can be tuned out with flash pro which is $599. Also remember the S2000 doesn't have the down low torque of other cars
