1998 civic strut assembly swap
I recently purchased a 1998 civic. The previous owner has lowered the car quite a bit by cutting the springs. I do not particularly like how low it is, and would like to "unlower" it. In order to do so, i went to the junk yard and grabbed a set of four whole strut assemblies instead of just the springs. Getting them off of the car at the junkyard, i did not need a spring compressor, and the job was pretty straightforward. When i install these factory strut assemblies on my car, will i need to compress the springs to get the assemblies on the car? also, are there any other common issues that i may run into during the installation. Thank you in advance for the information!

You do not need a spring compressor to install assemblies.
Depending on where you live, the rear shock bolts are probably rusted in. If they are...welcome to hell.
Clock your bushings when you install everything. Check google for a tutorial.
