Default JG Engine Dynamics Poll ::

This Poll is for YOU who have had experience with JG directly... either through a shop or whatnot..

Not your friends friend.. or "I knew this guy".. type ****..

WE want to hear from people that have had experience with JG, not rumors and hearsay.... I dont want a dozen people replying because they all know one guy who had a bad experience...

I personally had the "pro series" buildup and the damn thing withstood allmy stupid mistakes and boosting over what i thought my bc was set at.. and held up to whatever i tossed at it... and was rock solid until i sold the car...

So lets hear it..

**Feel free to explain briefly any positive / negative comments**

<--- willing to bet there are more positives than negatives..

Pro series buildup

dealt with JG through Autolink Motorworks in San Gabriel

forged pistons, rods, sleeves, o-ring'd, blockguard tig welded in, decked and resurfaced, cleaned, new bearings and plugs, seals, balanced and blueprinted bla bla bla.. the works...

definately satisfied...

(tired of just hearing the bitching, would like to see those wiht positive comments for once.. for a comparison)

Tired of seeing all the negatives.. I was curious how many good responses there were compared to bad ones....

i tend to think that the small number of bad experiences are just that.. few.. and that you NEVER hear someone jumping up and down becuase someone did something right by them... it's always the negative....

just trying to get the positive feed back as well as the negative stuff we always see..

This is not always the case, but the customer is always right. What a contradiction.

I havn't delt with JG personally(no, i didn't vote), but have heard many horror stories. Regardless of how many happy customers they have, i have heard of to many unhappy ones. If you say you will have an engine ready in 4 weeks, you should look to complete it in 3.5 to allow for mishaps or downtime. 3 months is extreemly too long. I don't think i could hear enough possotive comments about JG to ever do business with them.

i agree, I know that not every business is perfect, but, you SHOULD hear more good, then bad, and on JG case, i hear A LOT of bad.

My experience with them was good but it was like 7 or 8 years ago and all they did was bore my throttle body.

Wow 15 posts, and the thread is already off topic....We have two who have not delt with JG, two making dinner plans and dub parties ( no offense Stan&Jake), one tired of seeing JG threads and me who is also tired of seeing JG threads...

Just trying to stay on topic art. Playing catch up on 4 threads of JG is a pain. I don't really want to read BS. Get to the meat.
