Default 97 Civic, B18c turbo kit

Whats up everyone, I have searched but I do not know what is a good quality kit & whats junk, so much comes up.
I have a 97 civic with a b18c1 swap.
I want a turbo kit that will not blow up the stock motor & will keep the ac & ps
280-300 whp is enough for now

do i have to collect pieces? any complete kits that are good quality?
is the greddy kit any good? do they still make it ?

There are several different ways you could approach this, but the decision to buy a pre-made "kit" vs building the setup yourself, that's the first hurdle. Personally, i've only ever built setups myself...its cheaper and can fit your goals more precisely; however, it is more work and if you dont know what you're doing, it can be more frustrating/time consuming. Start by researching similar setups...there are hundreds of stock b series turbo threads floating around the Forced Induction forum.

Go-autoworks kits are great kits, I'm running one & very happy with the results I got.

Treadstone also makes a good kit with good name brand parts for low power set-ups.

No kit is truly complete, just remember that

Very true.

OP if you are able to weld or know someone then piecing a kit together will be cheaper but you will have fab work because your piecing parts that are not made to work together. It took me two years to piece a kit together and recently boosted my hatch. Looking back, I would have gone with one of Greg 's kits.

With buying a kit all components were made to work with each other so fitment is not a issue

Im gonna end up getting a kit from them as well. I emailed them super early and got a response from greg within minutes (was asking about having a kit made using a different turbo than the ones listed as options)
