resistor in SRS and ABS circuits?
The previous owner put an aftermarket steering wheel on this 94 LS (which i promptly replaced with a higher quality one). The SRS light is on since the airbag was removed. I know that by installing a resistor in the circuit the light will go off. Where will i find the wire to install a resistor, and what rating should it be. Also, how do i go about doing it, is it a simple solder job?
He also disconnected the ABS. Therefore, the ABS light is on too. Where in the circuit do i install the resistor, what rating should the resistor be, and where will i find the necessary wire to pull this off.
Thank you fellas.

Two screws at the top of the black bezel around the cluster, then just the three screws holding the cluster in place and thats it.

That link lists what you need if you want to use the resistor. Locations should be roughly the same.

Bulbs sit inside holders that just twist in and out on the back of the cluster. There really isn't much damage you can do accidentally back there, just make sure you dont rip the green film on the back of the cluster. And if its never been taken out before you may have a clip holding the harness to the cluster that may have to be undone.
I forget those kinds of things exist, you'll have to forgive me. Yeah, in Alabama you can pretty much get away with anything which is a double edged blade in of itself.
