Default B18b main bearing clearances acl race bearings

Been doing a lot of reading and can't really seem to find the answer to my exact questions.. I'm plastigauging my motor and I'm coming up with . 002" or a tiny tiny bit below (maybe . 0019") on every main. I'm building a fairly high boost ls. I know the numbers are a bit out of Oem spec but will it work or is it something that needs addressed? Thanks in advance!

Youll be fine. On start up keep an eye on your oil pressure if you feel its too low use thicker oil.

If not buy oem bearings and get the exact clearance you want.

Old rule" build it tight everyone will know, build it loose no one will know"

My last 3 builds were all around .0019-.0020

I got the exact same clearances on my acl race bearings. Most of them .002, a couple .0019.

I used oem, but I purposely cleared it to .0018 for 1 2 4 5, and .0022 for 3 (3 needs more clearence)

You'll be fine. My rod bearings are all .0015, I run normal 5w30 and an obd2 oil pump and even when the oil temp hits 230f I still have tons of pressure

OK thanks for the response guys! First honda motor I've assembled, so it's the tightest clearances I've had to deal with so when I saw it out of spec it worried me a bit, I know on most motors I would never worry about . 002, but just wasn't sure on a Honda motor! Thanks again!!!
