Ok guy's from some reason i can't start my car with the AEM. With the stock ecu the car fires up, although with the AEM I get only one spark right when I try to start it and that's it. No more spark. AEM does not think anything is wrong with the ecu although my tuner had me send it back.
Even though I strongly believe it's the ecu, what else could it be?
Yes I checked the fuses. Like i said before the car starts with the stock ecu!

which base map are you using sounds like your car might have a different crank/distributor sensor number of teeth or something

something is definitely not sync'd up.

 

It is your basemap, plan on spending at least 6 hours to tune your car. Id recommend installing the AEM at the dyno and taking it from there.

Ok well I guess I should of explained a little more. I was driving around with the EMS already. One night i did a compression test and blew the ignition coil fuse. I did not know it was the fuse at first because it did not blow in the middle but off to the corner of the fuse, which a friend of mine noticed a few days later. Damn fuse! Now I only get on single spark at the first turn of the motor and that's it. Although with the stock ecu it fires right up! One problem after another!

 

Dandee, **** that. I've gone to far with this. Plus does Speed Pro come with a boost option and auto mapping......NO!
Anyway's you get you clutch yet or what?

 

Good news with the clutch. Pisal gave me one from his shop but its for cable tranny. I called clutchmasters to exchange it for another model and they said yes. So, im gonna send it back monday and hopefully i get the one nextweek.

 

We'll sure enough it ened up being "ignition 1", some circuit board inside the ecu. AEM called me yesterday and said they will replace the board and ship it back out. Whew, finally an end to that problem.
Let the driving begin!
