hondamotorsports (now Hmotorsportsonline) online poll
just to see who got their B16a1 changeovers from Hondamotorsonline.com (hmotorsonline.com now) and if you got EVERYTHING (except time and labor) you needed for the swap.

umm you need mount, and for some reason people seem to think hmo will give you axles that will fit your ed chassis, you need to use 90-93 teg axles or build your own, you need to re-wire the harness depending on the model you have. You need to either modify the linkage or get one from onn of the many companies. Its not a bolt in swap. They give you everything from the SIR bay thats all they give you and are supposed to give you. visit: www,hasport.com for more info. Other then that HMO is great in my opinion, except steve sells dented hoods haha
You will probably need to replace the axles anyway. It is worth it to replace them before the swap so you won't have to take hem out and change them again if they are bad. Most of the axles from these swaps are shot. So use them as cores and go pick up some 90-93 integra axles...if you have the 90-93 halfshaft.
Define "EVERYTHING", you will need to replace Axles, shift linkage, motor mounts, clutch, timing belt, all of the fluids, if the engine has been sitting for a while, some of the seals may be dried up and will leak if you don't replace them, and I'm sure I'm missing some other things, but yeah, hmotorsportsonline comes with all of the old, worn out crap that came on the engine.

Well.....since im Local to them......I went there on a friday and picked one up....
First he was kinda rude but in the end he turned out to be pretty cool
I bought a b16a(1st gen) swap, along with the Hasport mounts
I got Axles/tranny/ecu/motor/rear L bracket/linkage
He let me pick out my own motor and then went over every detail of what I need to do to get this motor in my car(even though i knew already). He told me the axles hes giving me are good for cores only,Also pointed out that every sensor was in tact and not broken
Overall hes a pretty good guy to deal with...just a little too busy for his own good

He's a pretty good guy. But like someone said earlier, he's just too busy for his own good. It took me a week to get a hold of him to order my B16. I ended up getting a motor with no compression, which he immediately replaced with another shortblock. He said that it was the first time he sold one like that. Really good service but you have to be patient. He should definitely hire someone to help him out. It would improve his response time a great deal.

I've been waiting for 3 weeks for:
A) A receipt...How do you NOT send someone a receipt when they just spent 3grand on you?
-He says it was sent out in the mail the same day as my engine went out.....BS.
B) A few parts vital to my swap that should have been with it. Again, said it was sent out.
- I guess USPS mysteriously loses everything that is supposed to come to my address.
I've already got the parts I'm missing..tired of waiting on him, but I will not rest on my receipt.
I want my dang receipt! It's like he almost REFUSES to give me a receipt.
Upon research, it seems only people that picked up engines in person got a receipt..he told everybody else 'it's in the mail'. I guess USPS lost those too. Quite interesting....
He really does need to hire somebody....I think he hired someone to respond to emails, but it still takes freakin days to get one...if you even DO get one.
I think his quickly flourishing business is really catching up to him fast...and smothering him

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. HMO is shady as ****. I can probably come up with a short list of people ripped off or inconvenienced by them. A B18c5 shipped with a faulty oil pump, hydro tranny and an auto ECU. Pain in the *** hassle to get the right ECU/Tranny, motor blew within a week and Steve wouldn't refund ANYTHING.
ECUs commonly being an auto ECU, or the wrong tranny, etc....... they advertise a good deal, but they aren;t worth it. Say no to HMO........
heres a few places that I know do decent service...

I dont know.... my B20 that I got from him is in good condition (accept minor valve cover dent), but the map sensor is busted and that sucks. I also found oil in the #1 cyl. so once I start it up well see if it runs right. Other then that he was good to me...
