Is this limp mode?
I just want a straight forward answer, I don't want to hassle anyone too bad.
I have done plenty... PLENTY of research!
I'm having a problem with vtec not working and/or my car being in limp mode.
The car is a 94 civic with an h22a with a p13 ecu, it revs to about 5700 rpm and then hits a rev limiter, most people say that when in limp mode, they can't rev past 4k so I think its not the issue but I'm just trying to narrow down the issue.
I had a couple cel codes but they were cleared and the person that cleared them at the shop said that they didn't apply to my car.
So please if I could get an answer, I'd be very happy, cheers!

Can't tell you **** without the CEL codes. Next time they pop, pull over, DO NOT shut off the car and pull them. All you need is a paperclip then count the long and short dashes.
one of them was for an egr valve but I have it bypassed with a block off plate and the other was something about an o2 sensor but the guy said that it wasn't an issue because my car is a 4 cylinder so I'm assuming that if it had more cylinder that it would apply. Thanks for the reply.
I believe it's either wiring or its in limp mode for a completely different reason. Hopefully it's wiring. That's why I wanted to ask before I started getting into the electrical
