I have searched but all the pics I have found dont load anymore. I am looking for the difference between the 2 types of injectors. I am trying to figure out what harness my car has as i ordered injectors but they are the wrong ones and i dont want to go through this mess again.

 

obd1 use a plug with a clip that goes around the plug and hold it on, where as obd2 injectors have 2 plastic clips made onto the plug.

 

is there a difference in obd1 connectors then? i have the metal clip but when ordering injectors i was sent ones with a center guide not the 2 corner guides that my old ones have. they look identical except for this connector difference.

 

the obd2 clips are a bit easier to unplug BUT you can simply shave the guides on the obd2 ones down and use them with a obd1 plug.
