Default coolant stream under the intake manifold

I have a 96 Accord with vtec 4 cyl.
There is a leak that will actually trickle coolant if you remove the radiator cap so the system can breath. even with a mirror I can't see the spot, but it is under/near the intake port for the cylinder nearest the thermostat.
looking at the diagram, it appears that there is a distribution pipe under there with several hoses.

I've removed all the intake piping - still can't see the leak, but it is further in than the thermostat housing.

Does anybody have any suggestions before I start the laborious process of removing the intake manifold?
Any ideas of what/where this is?

If it is that pipe that crosses over from the water pump, will I have to pull the timing belt to replace it? That pipe is not mentioned or shown in any manual or diagram I've found.

no don't take the intake mani off. That entire tube will come off with the thermostat housing. It just has an o ring and it basically sitting inside the housing of the thermo. Shouldn't be too bad to remove. Take it off and rebuild the cooling components with the oem o rings and put it back together. There are also some little hoses and what not on the thermo housing that could be leaking as well as a bleeder valve
