Default Starter solenoid wire not getting power

Just picked up a crx si. If you try to just turn the key and start it, if doesnt do anything at all. No clicks no noise or anything. It starts right up if i just put the key in the on position and then put 12v to the starter solenoid. So the starter and solenoid are good. Clutch switch isnt broken, but how can i make sure its working if that would even cause this? Ignition switch maybe? Can someone explain to me where that starter solenoid wire runs to? Its a black and white wire. Is that the blk/wht wire from the ignition switch? If it is that means it goes to the front of the fuse box under the dash, but where does it go from there? does it just go out the back of the fuse box straight to the solenoid or what?

I had the same problem. I found a thread to bypass it though

Did you check if the bushing on the top of the clutch pedal was there or worn out that hits the switch?

I'd also diagnose your ignition cylinder/switch
