Default 92-95 civic quick release fit a 2000 civic?

My friend has a quick release steering wheel for a 92-95 civic that he doesn't need anymore but I do need.. I have a 2000 civic would that quick release fit my civic?

If quick release alone, yes it will, but you need an EK hub/boss kit.

You can get a boss kit for EK then bolt that quick release on it. Get the short hub/boss kit. So the steering wheel won't be too close to you.
