Icon3 s300 no upload!

Hi, I went to plug in my p72 hondata s300 and went to upload a calibration and it fails everytime.
I tried my buddys p72 s300, and his uploads and everything perfect.

I got his friend, who also did his s300 and local peoples ecu's to install my s300.

I did some research on the problem, and some people say its the ecu socketing.

Now i dont wanna take it back to him because this was a last year some time, and had a couple plans changed with the car i was gonna use the ecu in, and am just getting to use it now so he'd probably blame me because i wasnt ASAP w/ the return.

What should i be looking for? I'm gonna be opening my friends ecu and my ecu for a side by side comparison of a known working s300.

Thanks.

Move your s300 board into your friends ECU and see if you can upload... if so, then you are correct in stating that your ecu/socketing is the problem. If you still have the same problem of upload failure, your issue is the s300 board. This will isolate your problem before you order a new ECU.
