Default honda civic ex 1996 dying problem

My car keeps dying on me, it seems to only die when the engine is cooler. It will die within 2 miles of driving it. I noticed it dies a little after I switch gears or right after I get into first. If anyone thinks they know what it is please get back to me, I'm new to cars but I really want to learn more.

I had something like that and it turned out to be the ignition lock cylinder. I found out by looking up recalls on my 99 civic and checking the symptoms.
