Coolant leak on 2002 accord
I had my timing belt replaced about 3 months ago and luckily my camshaft snapped and bent all the valves in my engine shortly after the new belt. My wife's uncle put in a rebuilt head and camshaft but managed to break the knock sensor in the process. I replaced the knock sensor and while doing that, I noticed a coolant leak coming from the coolant pipe where it connects to the water pump. I figured the coolant pipe possibly needs a new o ring and was wondering how do I replace these. I don't see any bolts holding it in place to the back of the water pump or to the thermostat housing.
There are bolts holding the pipe to the block. Remove the thermostat housing assembly and the bolts holding the pipe and it'll pull right out.
Not sure why you said "luckily my camshaft snapped and belt all the valves". Nothing lucky about that.

Does anything else have to be removed to get the coolant pipe out of the way other than removing the tstat housing? I definitely dont want to break the knock sensor cause that was $118 to replace. Plus it seems like the oil sensor might be in the way.

Ok there's a bolt at part number 20.
There is a hose that attaches closest to that bolt at part 2.

Then there is the water pipe to heater hose at part 4.

You will probably be best served buying all new hoses. The water pipe to valve hose will be especially tricky to remove.
You may be able to get away with just removing the bolt and pulling the pipe enough to get the new oring on but you run the risk of causing a leak in the hoses or even them simply tearing.
