A welded diff will definitely not be streetable. The same goes for a spool. If you want the same kind of results but to a less degree use an LSD. An LSD will be streetable.

What ever you do don't buy a phantom grip they are garbage. I ran a welded diff. before I got my spool, it's deffinetly not for riding on the street, supper hard to turn very bad handling. Also at most tracks it's illegal. If you are on the street either get a good LSD or settle for what you have. for a track only car spool is the only way to go.

I've been running a welded diff on the street for several months now and have no problems. You get used to it. The jimfab bars helped a ton too.
