Main Relay - No ground at pin #3 ... any clue ?
Hi Guys,
My Integra started an intermitent problem this weekend.
It gradually, over last 4 days, became a permanent issue.
The symptom was for the fuel pump not to prime during the ignition cycle.
I troubleshooted the main relay and found that I have no ground at pin #3.
This ground is supplied directly by the ECU.
I tried 2 P28 ecu (both known to be working before last weekend) --> no change.
If if add a jumper between Main relay Pin#3 and a good chassis ground, fuel pump is priming and car starts like a charm.
Any idea what could cause the ECU to not provide this ground ?
Car: Integra 95 race car
Engine: B18C
ECU: P28 - socketed
