hey people. i have a 99 civic lx base stock. the compressor blew out about 6 years ago and my wife hasnt gotten it fixed yet and i am tired of sweating my *** off on the way home from work on camp lejeune as a marine. i am a mechanic in the marine corps, so if someone or multiple people could just leave a couple of messages saying what parts i will need, i am more than capable to do the work myself. i just dont work with ac systems and dont know what parts i need. thanks everyone.

 

1) Buy new compressor and new receiver/dryer.
2) Flush A/C system of compressor debris, possibly after also replacing the condenser and evaporator.
3) Install new compressor and receiver dryer, and add A/C oil.
4) Place under deep vacuum for an hour or more.
5) Recharge with proper weight of refrigerant.
