89 si hatch lv swap wiring question
So I have a 89 si hatchback that i am swapping my b18a1 motor in. Since it is multi port i dont have to wire that in but i have a few questions on the harness. Should i use the 89 si wiring harness and just swap the distributor plugs? If i go that route i will be depinning and repinning the ecu with the info from : https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...d0+obd1+wiring
But what im confused on it about the o2 sensor, on the d16 si motor it is threaded in on the headers where it goes from 4 down to 2, but on my b18a1 it i after it goes down to 1 pipe. Should i just extent the wires on it to reach there? Or is there a way to use the b18 harness and just swap the plugs to connect it in the engine bay? Any info would be nice. thanks.

Use the 89 Si harness and repin the plugs. Absolutely the best, hands down, method.
Extend the wires to reach. I'm not sure which B18 motor you have. You should be able to just extend the wires and connect the O2 sensor.

Cool got most of it wired in just stuck now on 2 plugs from my B18a1 which is what im putting on my 89 si hatch. There arent any plugs on the 89si harness where these are so im not sure what should be done really.

First one is the fan switch, your Si's is in the back of the block so you can wire it from there to this location. The second one is EGR, ignore it. Third is not needed eliminate it.
Sweet the si fan switch is the one that is sort of souldered on the back of the block... So then on the back of the b18a1 block what is the two prong plug there?
