Noob here. Just got a '94 del sol, and this is my first venture into Honda-land. Needs a new srs module (among other things). Does anyone know if the various part nos are swappable or not? I've got an 77960-SR2-L800, and don't know if other's from that year will work or not. As they are a bit pricey, I don't want to experiment....

 

93 will also work.

I know 95s will work, but not sure about the 93s as those are single bag, and 94-5 are dual.

I know for sure 96-7 wont work at all.. the hard way..

Tho, if the #s are the same, then they will. Gotta watch those ebay sales, they claim lots of years will work, so just be sure.

 

Problem solved, question answered!
I found an identical srs module on ebay but it arrived doa (caveat emptor, but I did get the $ back).
I decided to scrounge at the nearby yanker yard and found a '94 civic 4 door w/ two intact air bags, and pulled the unit out of it. Looked different but had the same yellow connector. Put it in and voila, the srs light went out!
So the original srs PN was 77960-SR2-L800. The replacement/swappable unit PN was 77960-SR3-L81.
I must assume that the light going out means the system is working. No way to tell unless I want to run the del sol into a tree.....
