So I replaced the rear cam seal plug on my 2005 ex 1.7 with vtec, so I had to remove the egr valve. I replaced the plug and the gasket on the egr valve. Put everything back together and it is running rough. I made sure nothing fell into the egr port and cleaned the area where the rear seal plug goes with a clean rag. Any suggestions on what to do or what is wrong.

I also have to work the gas pedal to get it to start. It would be nice to know wtf I did to it.

Did you try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes to clear the ECU and force it to "re-learn" how to make the engine idle? Remember that each time you change a variable, you have to re-calibrate so you don't get the symptoms you are experiencing.

Yes I did originally and it didn't work. So I looked looked up the problem and it said to clean the egr valve or replace it. So I cleaned it because I wanted to try and save 125 and that worked. So in a couple months I'm going to switch it out in a couple months
