Default What do you think

I have a 2000 em1 with the original b16, the head is fully built skunk2 valves retainers cams and gears but I have a stock bottom end, I was told by a buddy that if I was to build a b20 bottom end with itr internals I'd make 220 to the wheels. What do you think? Feed back please

Its very possible. You'd have to use RS Machine/YCP etc ITR replica pistons because of the 84-85mm bore that you will have to run with the B20 bottom end.

I built one 4-5 years ago and here's the dynosheet, stock VTEC head, Pro valvesprings, Pro2 cams, Victor X IM, 60mm TB, small tube tri-y:

Definitely possible! Pro1 would do it, my buddie had similar setup before and he made 215 wheels stock head no p&p only valve train.

So the head is ported with valve job?

A good intake manifold, RDX injectors, Toda/SMSP/S2 header and engine management...depending on dyno and who built the motor, yeah...220 is possible.

Don't get too caught up in dyno number bruh.

220 on say a churches dyno is different than 220 on the dyno local to me....by a LONG shot.

What cams do you currently have? Or what are you trying to decide on running? A good set of sticks is where the process starts

^^^Agreed. Its just a number. I think we all want to see the biggest number possible, but in the end it really doesn't mean much. Build it well and go run it at the track. The timeslip will give you numbers you can be proud of.

220+ with a b20v with the rs itr replica is easy to attain. So do it and maybe you might even get more.

It made 222 hp and 165 torque, I'm very happy with the build but it's smoking a little bit abd kinda a lot when it first starts? Any reason for that...
