Default custom vtech controler

i want to change when vtech kicks in . I feel like if it kicked in earlier i would be able to get through gears faster. could i hook one of these up the the vtech solenoid and change when it engages ?

brah get some toda/crane VTEC killer cams that way you'll always have VTEC engaged and have a popcorn idle. lol at VTECH you got a phone in your engine ?

VTEC controllers are old and out dated you clearly have no understanding of WHEN to set the cross over. by your logic VTEC should be engaged at 2K rpm . The proper way of changing things like that are via a chipped ECU or more better a standalone/EMS.

The only time you'd ever want to change the VTEC activation point is during a tune on a dyno IF its called for. Leave it stock.

Wrong. Your feelings have nothing to do with how VTEC (or VTECH) works or when it engages.

You can if you want to but the ecu isn't going to modify its fuel maps until its ready to have vtec kick in.
