Default 90 civic LX MPFI conversion Emergency

ok I followed http://hondaswap.com/threads/dpfi-to...writeup.49557/ write up of the conversion for my D16a6 into the LX. got all wires installed and hooked up. the only thing I don't have done is the throttle cable installed yet. so I figured I would put the battery in now since the last part is a mechanical step. well when I connected the positive terminal the engine tried to start on its own. no key in ignition... so wtf did I do lmao... seriously

I don't have a step by step answer for you, but the starter is getting a signal to engage so find the wire that gives it that signal and follow it back. Hopefully you'll find a couple wires crossed or something easy like that.

here is a photo of some of the wires that i soderred to the dizzy from the ecu . these are pretty much just the match and sodder wires . im thinking maybe that i crossed the igniton wires. they are both white correct? the ones that run from the ecu? i dont have a exact color code found yet on the engine harness and all the picts/ right ups only tell you what colors to match not what they are on the actuel dizzy. if any one could baby my sorry *** on this one i would appreciate it. its late and i will have to wait until after work tomarrow to try and figure out the issue. first ill have to add come coolant and oil before i try anything.

this one shows my injector wiring. i compeletely removed the DX injector wires and installed color matching wires to the injectors and wired them from the engi bay. my question is since i depinned the old ones they are no longer getting a signal so i can just tape them up together correct?

Ok now I'm not sure what each wire does on the dizzy plug but I found this ecu print out http://********************/ecucompdpmp.htm.
Ecu pins I may have crosses. Not sure tho.
B1 ign switch white/green
B13 ignition switch blue/white
B15 igniter white
B17 igniter white.
Not sure if all these run to the dizzy but if any one has some knowledge in this please enlighten me a bit. Ill post more picts of actuel wiring when I get home. Thanks

The starter doesn't run to the distributor or the ECU so just stop thinking about that. It's super simple.

Battery ----> key -----> starter
|_______________--------^

The key is a switch that closes the loop.

ok guys, i figured out what the problem was. there wasnt one. however for some reason the dizzy tried to start the car 2 more times but less spunk. before i reconnected the batter i triple checked my wiring and all my connections and everything was sound. i referenced https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-crx-ef-civic-1988-1991-3/diy-dpfi-mpfi-swap-made-easy-2889205/ on top of the mpfi thread i posted above. both are accurate. after the 3rd connect on the battery it stop trying to start. not sure if the ecu was reprogramming itself or what. not exactly sure what happened to cause it to do that. after i added coolant and changed the oil i tried to start the car. took about 15 turns on the starter but finaly it started. then it smelled really rich in fuel. oh ****. i didnt connect the ******* fuel line correctly"dumb ***". so i turned it off. disc the battery and sprayed the **** out of the bay with some engine clean... so now its dark. ill have to fix the fuel line tomorrow. but all in all i believe i suceeded in a solo engine swap and MPFI conversion on a 1990 LX woot. probs for every one who took a minute to acknowledge my n00b *** and give me a tip or 2. thanks. your extra boost in support how little helped me suceed. much appreciated. ill be posting pictures of all the connects and also how i did the injectors since i did it completely different in wiring wise on how i did the injectors.

You have something covering those soldering points, right? Like electrical tape or paint on wire insulation?
