So I have 2 motors from Both my sols. My totaled sol has a complete d15b7. My d16y7, has a toilet bowl intake manifold and I want to swap manifolds. Will the manifold from the b7 block fit the y7 block?

If I'm not mistaken IV seen people use y8 manifolds on y7s and z6 manifolds on y8s and finally z6 manifolds on b7s. So it'l fit.

but why would you want that there?

 

b7 manifold will work, have done this. as far as why he would want it there, he explained it. not to mention any other d series manifold is better than the y7.

Will work but if you're using it in an OBD2 Sol you'll need to retain the Y7 throttle body due to the 3 wire IACV.

 

Ever since ive hadthis sol, ive had an idling problem. And accelerating in low rpms it runs choppy. Ive replaced everything but the tps. And ended up breaking a screw in the manifold that hold the iacv. And ive heard too many bad things about it. And plus, the air filter just looks out of place. And yes my sol is obd2. So i will need to change some things im sure. Im not too familiar on them though.
