Sorry for the dumb post but I get sick of people calling one header HEADERS!!!. You don't have 2 sets of exhuast manifolds, this isn't a V8. You have ONE set and it's singular, so no "S" on the end....header

get over it. people are buying "electic turbos" and altessa(sp) lights every day. things are getting worse.

 

I don't care what they are or who's buying it, if just people would know what words to say and use the correct form of that word....that's all. Like in the case of saying I have an EG, when I really don't, it's all the same, people who don't really know what they're talking about

that's getting more technical... a header IS an exhuats manifold, it just routes the cumbusted air differently. It is one piece. It has different ports and such, but one piece. It's the CORRECT jargon alright. You don't have intakes even though your "intake" feeds 4 cylinders....

 

so back to my other question, there are 2 legs to pants, but yet its still plural. Do we have to start calling them pant?

but when u order a header....it list it as just header. when u buy pants...they list it as pants. so...society makes us say these things...the society controlls what we do and say...conspiracy man...

I say header, but just let it go man cause the same could be said for the people that say rpms, it's an error almost like debating with someone and criticizing them for their spelling even though everything said was understood everything they said.

Vent if you must though, but it doesn't seem that annoying

 

Eh, the list goes on and on .... header vs. headers is the least of offensable terminology blunders common with import performance ....

Try intercooler vs. aftercooler
downforce vs. reduced lift
shocks vs. struts
motor vs. engine

The list goes on ...
