Intake Manifold removal
First off people make it scarier than it is.
Its relatively easy to remove as required to replace vac lines coolant lines gaskets IAC removal so i wanted to do a quick write up on it as i havent seen one
first off start by removing the fuel rail and all connecting wires.
next unplug wiring harness connectors (3) on the right side. then unroute it. remove all intake bolts and have a buddy help u guide your ratchet with extension and flexible socket on the end, onto the IM bolt and remove the bottom 4 nuts there is a wiring harness routed on the top of the IM under section that connects to the throttle body. pull it to the front of the car to loosen it off brackets.
lift IM off studs ands lift it up towards you as you sand on the right side of the car hve a buddy unplug two connectors and the vac line to the IAC.
Congrats you have succesfully removed your IM to do what you please!

those lower middle 2 nuts that hold it on the head are a bit of a pain.
i ended up using a small ratchet to get in there but had to grind the end of the handle
off so it had enough wiggle room. i was able to move the harness out of the way without unplugging it but it's a tight fit. the worst part was cleaning off the old im gasket.
took an hour of wire brush on a drill + brake cleaner to get it all off.
not sure what that stuff is but it is sticky as hell. 8(
