Have any of you had a coolant leak from your skunk2 manifold where the gold coolant tube is coming out? I know it is not leaking from the hose or the clamp. It is coming directly from where that tube pushes into the intake
manifold. Maybe I just got a bad one?

 

It shouldn't leak. You will either need a new one, or pull it out and tap it for an AN fitting. If you bought it new call their customer service.

 

Had this happen before, had to pull the steel out, used a tap and put a barb fitting and some thread tape and good to go. Skunk2 products seem to have more and more problems these days.

 

These manifolds are known to leak there. Is it an older model or the pro?

too bad everything now a days is a piece of crap. my manifold doesnt leak there but its at least 3-4 years old.

easy fix though, tap and put a barb fitting in there.

 

Ya I talked to them and they only accept returns if u got a receipt, it was bought by an authorized dealer, ect ect.. They you gotta send it in, they inspect it.... Anyways.. My car can't be down that long so fu%k it. Any particular size tap/barb fitting I should be looking for? I'm just gonna have to buy those pieces and do it some weekend.
