Default Civic wagon question...

Hey, I've been thinking about building a d16a6, but have heard that the civic wagons with this engine had an intermediate shaft setup. Is this true?

i know that the rt 4wd wagons use a jack shaft, half shaft, mid shaft whatever you wanna call it. not sure about the 2wd but i think the have a long and a short. you can still use any d block, the old blocks have the holes there and the 92+ you just have to tap the holes.
