1999 Civic Ex Coupe with a D16y8 P2J-5 01

I Cant find a damn thing on it and am new so just curious.
ive been told the 01 stands for the year? yet its a 99 so has it had previous work im assuming.
as far as i can tell single V-tec Solenoid.
1999 Civic Ex Coupe.
Ecu P2P-A12 with 6D as my highlighted. car runs like a Champ.
Canadian Si?
Type K interior

But I have 01 stamped. Question is why and what's that mean?

Remove the header cover. Are there additional number markings behind it? Post more pictures. Click the links I posted.

Uh riiiiight. It's a head for a Y8. Doesn't matter what year you think it was manufactured. Parts will be the same for all those models.
