Default Stock Headlights vs. Aftermarket

New user here,

Just wondering what is everyone's take on aftermarket headlights. Often time projectors/halos make the car look ricey and the OEM ones are dull.

Anyone have any opinions on what to buy? I'm trying to build my EM2 coupe up and my current stock headlights are garbage.

What's so garbage about them? Are they foggy and yellow? Just restore them. They look plenty nice once restored. Cheap and easy.

I don't think halos look very ricey if the car is done right, the after market tail lights get ricey, i personally stick to the OEM's just keep them shinin

I tried toothpaste and a headlight restoration kit and neither of them work. What method/product do you use?

I recommend the restoration kit with the ball- drill attachment. Hand power is not going to be enough to do a proper buff job.

Personally I think the restoration kits are over priced, I use turtle wax polishing compound the original stuff, buff mine out by hand with a rag and they look brand new! Takes some elbow grease without a buffer but comes out nice!!
