Default 88 CRX Si Lower Control Arms

Hey all,

What would you all suggest when looking for the lower control arms for this car?

We already installed the Buddy Club P1 but they didn't fit due to not having any mounts for the sway bar. I just looked online and it looks like they were the lca's for an EG or EK

I see some Si owners have the Skunk2 lca's but none of the sites I'm finding say it's for an Si. All we want to be able to do is install the lca's and mount the stock sway bar to it and that's it.

Here is a pic of the Skunk2 just for reference:

Also if there is anything cheaper other than a stock part then that would be awesome if possible.

Is this what we need?

why not just buy stock? will last longer than skunk2 or any other crappy lca. and theyre not expensive.

88's use eyelet shock mounts. so they look like what ppl call "ITR shocks". do you STILL have these types of shock?

if you DO, then none of the aftermarket LCA will work, unless you change the shock to match.

the sway bar mounting is the SAME between 88/ITR and all other civic/integra LCA.

you just have to match the shock with the LCA.

personally using skunk2 lca for my 91 si wit kyb shock/struts. only downside i would say is the bushings are poly and most likely will wear faster unless its a weekend warrior like mine is

Thanks Tyson. What you gave me is what I feared lol. I read your thread you posted earlier. I just didn't know the difference between the models you posted (DC, EF and whatnot).

So the car is 100% stock. Basically this means if we keep the struts stock then we HAVE to get stock lca's. I guess there is nothing wrong with that.

Thanks guys!

Okay well I found out some more info and the shocks are NOT stock. They are KYB or something. Not too sure to be honest. They have the fork mount that goes to the lca.

I do remember when we mounted the shock to the lca that the fork was wider than the lca so when we installed it the forked had to be pinched to mount flush to the lca.

I'll report back when I find out exactly what shocks are installed. For now though does anyone know what lca will mount to a kyb shock that has the sway bar mounts for this car?
