Default Break Light Not Working on my 94 Civic Hatchback

Hi guys, I have a question over my EG. I recently notice that my rear taillight break wasn't working. I tried changing the bulb and that wasn't it. It's the right rear. My turn signals that is connected by the same bulb as the break light works so I know it is getting power but the break like won't go on. The left side is working perfectly fine.

Any suggestions on what might it need or need to be changed? Thank you

The brake and turn signals have separate power circuits that share a ground. Use a multimeter to check for voltage to the brake light wire in the bulb socket.

You can also pop off the plastic on the lower gate and check the wiring to the brake light for damage.

After work I will try to use a multimeter to check for voltage. Thanks for the replies
