all motor: start with GSR or ITR?
I'm new at this, so forgive my ignorance. I have an LS, but am looking to build (or, have one built) an all motor car. I was wondering if it would be better to start with a GSR or ITR motor. I wasn't sure if you would be replacing a bunch of the internals in the in the ITR, making it better (cheaper) to just start with a GSR?
Thank you for your help.

wrong forum but gsr and itr block are the same depending the build you want to do will matter if spend the moeny for itr or not. If wanting to just change pistons and be done then go ITR if doing everything(expensive) the just get a gsr if cheaper.
Same goes for the head
Same goes for the head
****, if he is going all motor id say R because the only things he would want to change would be the pistons, a ctR intake cam and valve springs with retainers so he could take it up higher..
if you go gsR youd be replacing a LOT of other parts in addition the those mentioned..
now if he is going for an all out build, get a b20 block, a b16 head, and someone with more all-motor knowledge will want to put their opinions for specific internal parts since im not as familiar with NA..
