Hi Everyone,

My bf's Si started idling upward of 4000 RPMs this afternoon. The gas and break pedals are really stiff also. No issues with the clutch or changing gears and the car still accelerates when stepping on the gas. All of the fluid levels are fine, no leaks either. My only guesses are TPS issues or something with the wiring. Any input on what it could be or how to check/test/correct the issue would be greatly appreciated. I drive a '06 Si and have no idea where to look in his car.

You should first look at his throttle plate and see if it's open at idle
