Default Which type of thinners for rustoleum or hammerite paint?

Im looking to redo a satin black civic that had a few flaking isuues. Id previously used standard cellulose thinners. Is this ok or do I need the other type? Which I think is mineral based thinners.

Thanks

What are you going to be using? You can usally find out what to thin it with on the can or their website.

Check to see what the rustleum is based. ( might be different in UK , eg there is oil, enamel, lacquer ,etc ) .

Depending on the base, there is a thinner that will work best . ( most of the time the can itself will tell you what to use to dilute/thin when spraying)
