Default 92 Accord AC System

I recently got my AC serviced. The guys who did service pulled out the Lines, Condenser, Evaporator unit. Cleaned with Acetone and then passed Nitrogen through them. This Seems basic things to do.

I replaced the Dryer but NOT the Evaporation Valve.

Condenser threw few rubber pieces out may be because of dying rubber pipe but flow was ok so they installed it back.

Those dumb guys had a big cylinder and never cared to weigh the R12 Freon going into car. Now I am not sure if my car is over charged or not. I have ordered gauges and ill get them tomorrow.

Problem
On AC the car seems to be more heavy than normal. When AC trips my car literally accelerate as if VTEC has kicked in. Also when AC is turned on first time it has very less impact on RPM but after 30 minutes or so it goes heavy on engine and at signals often RPM Drops to 500.

Questions
1. What direction should i look to find the culprit
2. What should be the pressure in High and Low side with proper gas fill? or if i can get some graph somewhere.
3. I have original Serpentine condenser would it work on R134a or i have to change it?

U must evacuate the system for minimum one hour. Then see if it holds the vacuum for another hour. Then charge by weight. Do not charge by pressure. There should be a label on the core support stating the amount to which to charge by weight by. Cheers!

Ok i will do that

I have question that in my car Keihin compressor is installed. Last year some mechanic changed it saying previous one was not correct. I have question that do all 1.8, 2.0 ,2.2 etc engines have same compresser, i mean is it designed that way?

The compressor has nothing to do with it. Just charge the amount that is stated on the sticker on the core support.

Cheers
