Fuel tank pressure sensor no reading

Fuel tank pressure sensor no reading
Honda Civic 1999 fuel tank pressure sensor was changed for a new one. I get no reading from the sensor even when connected. I checked the connections. Connections are good. Have been trying to fix this problem foe several years. How do I fix the connection. Is there fuse problem or something else?
