Default 98, dx hatch swap

Hey guys, I just bought a 98 DX hatch and being its a d series, I was just wondering what the better swap would be; the b18c1
Or the f20c? - a complete conversion-

welcome to the forum fraxxure.

Best thing to do is read through other threads.

Biggest thing will be your budget and intended use.

Options for a simple upgrade are:

turbo current motor. probably will give you best bang for buck and fun if is just a street car

build current motors ( pistons , vitaras or better ) . and run more boost

then the b series swaps, these are pretty bolt in with simple parts.

you will need mounts / motor / tranny / axles / ecu / shifter bars / clutch / pp / flywheel .

What motor is best, depends on your $$ and if you plan to build it up.

B18bs and b20bs are super fun for the buck. then b18cs

Then you could go into the F20c, but I would go straight to a Kseries. But mind you this swap adds a few more bucks ( by bucks I mean thousands ) .

Best of luck with your Civic.
